Jonah is an Independent Ballroom Dance Instructor and the owner of Evolution Ballroom LLC. He teaches all styles of ballroom dancing Newcomer through Gold and Open Levels, Social & Fitness, Wedding Preparation, Pro/Am Competition, and more. Jonah is primarily available for dance lessons at Aurelia Dance Studio in Westfield Indiana. Also available monthly in Evansville Indiana. 

 

About Jonah:

Jonah enjoys working with people of all ages and ability levels beginners through advanced levels, teaching social dancing, preparing couples for the wedding dance, and dancing Pro/Am events with his competitive students. Helping people believe in themselves, accomplish their personal goals, and developing a strategy for success and most of all exceeding their own expectations is Jonah’s goal all while making it fun, easy, and enjoyable.

 

He began his dance career in 1994 as an amateur dancer and quickly became interested in competitive dancing. Through dance he overcame his own challenges of being extremely shy. Through dance it helped him to overcome being shy and replaced it with confidence. By 1997 he competed for the first time as an amateur and after several years of competing as an amateur decided to compete at a professional level and decided to share his love for dance as an instructor beginning his teaching in 2001 and became a competing Professional in 2004. He dedicated his time training diligently with world class coaches and trainers as well as completing professional exams.

Some of Jonah’s accomplishments: World Professional Open American Rhythm Finalist, World Professional American Rhythm Rising Star Champion, U.S. Professional American Rising Star Vice-Champion, Fred Astaire Professional Open American Rhythm Vice-Champion, and Multiple time Fred Astaire Professional Open American Rhythm Finalist.  

 

Jonah trained with top world class coaches in the ballroom industry over his 25 years.  He takes pride on delivering to his clients the best quality instruction and an easy to understand approach.  Over his career he has won several top teacher awards throughout the U.S. while partnering many of his students in Pro/Am divisions capturing U.S. and World titles.

 

A memorable experience was dancing on the main stage with the professionals and celebrity cast of  "Dancing with the Stars" in the Walt Disney World Christmas Day Parade.
